Stitches Control

Square = 8 x 8 cm;

Sleeve pattern = 31 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10 rows.

Instructions

Bolero

Make 28 (32) squares and connect them in a rectangular shape of 7 (8) squares wide and 4 squares high. To achieve this, start by making 7 (8) stripes of 4 squares, connecting the neighboring edges of squares with a slip st on the RS, inserting the crochet hook only in the back loops of the sts of the last rnd. Then, connect 7 (8) stripes in vertical directions.

Sleeves

Make 79 (88) chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with sleeves pattern = 8 (9) pattern repeats + initial and final sts. In 44 cm = 44 rows from set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Sew the set-up edges of sleeves to the central 25 (28) cm of short sides of bolero. Make sleeve seams and the rest area of seam of 3.5 (2) cm long of short sides. Fasten the loose edges of the bolero (= 14 (16) squares) with 4 rnds of edges with ruffle, making 18 single crochets in every square.
