Chest circumference: 84 (94) 100 (110) 120 cm;
Length: 40 (42) 44 (46) 48 cm;
Length of sleeve along inner seam – 44 (45) 46 (47) 48 cm.
Stitches Control:
28 sts x 12 rows = 10 x 8 cm.
Note:
Make the upper part according to scheme 1, and the lower part according to scheme 2. Start from the lower edge of the upper part.
Instructions
Make the central part of front and back to arm-holes as one-piece cloth. Make 207 (235) 242 (270) 298 sts.
1st row (scheme 1): *1 double crochet from the 4th chain st, * 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts and make 1 single crochet from the next st, 3 chain sts, make 1 double crochet from next st*; repeat from * to * x 28 (32) 33 (37) 41 times. There are 29 (33) 34 (38) 42 fragments in work. Continue work in the 2nd row according to scheme 1 and repeat 2nd-3rd rows. When the height of work is about 11 (12) 13 (13) cm, mark 6 (7) 7 (8) 9 fragments for the front, 17 (19) 20 (22) 24 fragments for the back.
Upper Part of Back
Continue making the central part of the back, leaving 1 (2) 1 (2) 3 fragments from each side for the neck-hole, resulting in 15 (15) 18 (18) 18 fragments in work. At 19 (20) 21 (22) 23 cm height of the arm-hole, leave the central 5 (5) 6 (6) 6 fragments for the neck-hole and make each shoulder separately. When the height of the arm-hole is about 20 (21) 22 (23) 24 cm and the 2nd row of the pattern is finished, cut the yarn. Make the second shoulder in the same way.
Right Front
Continue making the front from the right side and leave 1 (2) 1 (2) 3 fragments for the arm-hole, resulting in 5 (5) 6 (6) 6 fragments in work. When the height of the arm-hole is about 20 (21) 22 (23) 24 cm, finish the 2nd row of the pattern and cut the yarn.
Left Front
Make in reflection to the right front.
Fringe
Turn the upper part of the bolero and make fringe according to scheme 2, starting from the lower edge of the central part of the back and front. Join the yarn with half crochet to the right edge and start work according to scheme 2 for 1st-6th rows. Repeat 1st-2nd rows one more time. Cut the yarn.
Upper Part of Sleeve
Make the pattern design of the sleeve in full dimensions and make increases accordingly. Make 60 (67) 74 (74) 74 chain sts. 1st row (scheme 1): make 1 double crochet in 4th chain st, * 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts, make 1 single crochet, 3 chain sts, skip 2 sts, 2 double crochets from the next st*; repeat from * to * x 7 (8) 9 (9) 9 times. There are 8 (9) 10 (10) 10 fragments in work. Continue work with the 2nd row according to scheme 1, then, repeat 2nd-3rd rows. Make 8 rows this way. After that, increase 3,5 (3,5) 3,5 (4) 4,5 fragments to 40th (42nd) 44th (46th) 46th row according to scheme 3. There are 15 (16) 17 (18) 19 fragments. Cut the yarn at 37 (41) 39 (43) 46 cm height of the sleeve.
Lower Part of Sleeve
Turn the upper part of the sleeve and work according to scheme 2 from the lower edge downwards. Fasten the yarn with half crochet and work according to scheme 2 for 1st-6th rows. Repeat 1st-2nd rows once and fasten. Make the second sleeve in the same way.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams. Sew up the sleeves into arm-holes and construct sleeve seams. Finally, sew the button onto the left front.
