Used Patterns

• 2 x 2 rib;
• 1 x 1 rib;

• Garter stitch: all stitches knit.

Stitches Control

For stockinette stitch: 12 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

24 sts of relief pattern = 12.5 cm.

Back

Cast on 62, [66], 72, [76] sts and knit 1 row of purls. Continue with the following sequence: 3 knit sts, [3 purls, 2 knit sts], 0 sts, [2 knit sts], then repeat * 2 purls, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to * 3, [3], 5 [5] times. Continue the work using the relief pattern on 24 sts, then apply the pattern * 2 knit sts, 2 purls*; repeat from * to *.

Finish the row with 3 knit sts, [3 purls, 2 knit sts], 0 sts, [2 knit sts]. At 2 cm in height, knit the following: edging 19, [21], 24, [26] sts from both sides in stockinette stitch, and the central 24 sts in relief pattern. To form the neck-hole at 48, [50], 52, [54] cm, bind off the central 22 sts and finish each side separately. For the first stitch from the center, use garter stitch, and the remaining stitches should be stockinette stitch. After knitting 50, [52], 54, [56] cm, bind off 20, [22], 25, [27] sts for the shoulder seam. Make the second half of neck-hole in reflection.

Left Front

Cast on 30, [32], 34, [36] sts and knit 1 row with knit sts. Continue with the sequence: 3 knit sts, [3 purls, 2 knit sts], 3 knit sts, 2 purls, 2 knit sts, [3 purls, 2 knit sts, 2 purls, 2 knit sts], and proceed with the relief pattern on 24 sts. Finish the row with 2 knit sts and 1 st of garter stitch. After 2 cm, the last 3, [5], 7, [9] sts should be in stockinette stitch, while the remaining stitches will follow the ornament pattern. After knitting 50, [52], 54, [56] cm, bind off the sts for the shoulder seam.

Right Front

Follow the same instructions as the left front, working in reflection.

Assembly

Sew the shoulder seams together. Cast on 53, [55], 59, [61] sts and knit 2 knit sts, then switch to 1 x 1 ribbing, finishing with 1 purl, followed by 2 knit sts along the central edge of the right front up to a height of 34, [36], 38, [40] cm. Continue with straight knitting, ensuring to make 1 edge stitch as garter stitch. After reaching a height of 11 cm, bind off all stitches as knit stitches.
