Instructions for Crochet Handle Holder Covers
Creating the Main Body
With White and No. 00 hook, ch 13, s c in 3rd st from hook, s c in next st of ch, * ch 1, skip 1 st of ch, 1 s c in each of the next 2 sts, repeat from * twice, ch 2, turn.
2nd Row
Skip 1st s c, 2 s c in next s c, * ch 1, skip next ch 1 and next s c, 2 s c in next s c (pattern), repeat from * twice (4 patterns), ch 2, turn. Repeat the 2nd row until work measures 6 inches from beginning.
Next 2 Rows
Decrease 1 pattern at beginning of each row (to decrease: skip 1 s c, s c in next s c, skip 1 s c, s c in next s c), ch 2, turn.
Final Row
Skip 1 s c, s c in next s c, s c in next s c, sl st in next s c, cut yarn. Work another section in same manner. With Red Yarn, crochet the 2 sections together with s c starting at side and working up right hand side, around top, down opposite side, then work around each side of lower edge, cut yarn.
Making the Flower
