Materials
- Crochet Hook - I / 5.50 MM
- Yarn - Cotton or Acrylic (4)
- 16 oz. Plastic Cup or Jar (3 - 4 inches across top, 5 inches tall)
- Yarn ball, about 2 inches for the bottom of the holder.

- Slip Stitch (slst)
- Single Crochet (sc)
- Double Crochet (dc)
- Skip (sk)

Size: 6 Inches across
Notes
- Ch1 Does not count as a st.
- Ch3 Counts as dc
- Rounds are joined with a slst
Pattern
RND 1: ch 2, 8 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, join with a sl st to 1st st, (8 sc)
RND 2: Ch4 (counts as 1 dc, ch1) *dc in the next st, ch1* Repeat From *to* around, join to 3rd ch with a slst, (8 dc, 8 ch1 sp =16 sts)
RND 3: Slst in the 1st ch1 sp, ch4, dc, ch1, *1 dc, ch1, 1 dc in the next ch1 space, ch 1* Repeat from *to* around, join, (16 dc, 16 ch2 sp =32 sts)
RND 4: Slst in the 1st ch1 sp, ch4, dc, ch1, *1 dc, ch1, 1 dc in the next ch1 space, ch 1* Repeat from *to* around, join, slst the next ch1 sp, ch3
RND 5: Shell Sts - 2 dc, ch1, in the 1st ch1 sp, slst in the next ch1. *3 dc in the next ch1 sp, slst in the next ch1* Repeat from *to* around, join and tie off.
Tie
Ch 50 or more. Lace it through R: 4. Lay across the top of the cup, gather together, tie a knot, and bow.
Additional Tips
I rolled up a ball of matching yarn to have something for the hooks to poke into, inside of the cup.
