How to Crochet a Plant Holder

Step-by-Step Instructions

Round 1: 8 sc into Magic Ring, sl.st. to join (8)
Round 2: 8 Inc around, sl.st. to join (16)
Round 3: Ch 4, (Dc, Ch 1) x 15 times, sl.st. to join (32)
Round 4-5: 32 sc around, sl.st. to join (32)
Round 6-7: (Dc, Ch 1, skip 1 st.) x 16 times, sl.st. to join (32)

Round 11-12: 32 sc around, sl.st. to join (32)
Fasten off.

Adjusting for Larger Flower Pots

If you have a larger diameter of flower pot, then you need to make more rounds in the bottom. The following rounds should have 16 – 24 – 32 – 40... stitches.

In this way: 8 Inc around (16) – [1 sc, Inc] x 8 times around (24) – [2 sc, Inc] x 8 times around (32) – [3 sc, Inc] x 8 times around (40) and more if you need.
