Instructions
Back
Cast on 96 sts and make 30 rows of rib. Then, make 80 rows of stockinette stitch. After that, increase 15 x 1 st in every 5th row from both sides. After making 70 rows, bind off the central 12 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 6 sts, 1 x 5 sts in every 2nd row from inwards.
Front
Cast on 96 sts and make 30 rows of rib. Then, transfer 26 sts to the auxiliary needle (right front). Make the next 70 sts with stockinette stitch, decreasing 39 x 1 st in every 4th row from the right side for the neck-hole chamfer. Increase sts in every 5th row after making 80 rows from the opposite side. Transfer sts to the auxiliary needle after knitting to the level of back.
Left Front
Add 41 sts to 26 sts on the auxiliary needle, resulting in 67 sts. Make 1 row of purls. Then, work with the relief pattern according to the scheme, decreasing sts in the same way as for the right front. Transfer sts to the auxiliary needle after knitting to the level of back.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams “stitch in stitch”. Make side seams. Cast on 90 sts along the arm-holes and make 8 rows of stockinette stitch. Bind off the sts. Cast on 280 sts along the neck-hole from the beginning of the right front to the beginning of the left front and make 5 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Make 5 rows of stockinette stitch and bind off the sts.
