You’ll Need:

950g of 100% wool yarn in violet color;

Knitting needles 4;

Circle knitting needles 4.

Size:

XL-XXL.

Stitches Control:

2 x 2 rib: 24 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

At first, make pattern design in natural size.

Front and Back

This part of the jacket is made as one-piece cloth in transversal direction, starting with the left front.

Cast on 223 sts and work with a 2 x 2 rib. At 30 cm height from the beginning of work, form the space for the arm-hole in the following way: transfer the first 46 sts to the auxiliary needle, knit the next 91 sts with auxiliary yarn. Return the sts from the auxiliary yarn to the left-hand needle, then, 46 sts from the auxiliary needle. Knit all the sts on the knitting needle with the main yarn and continue knitting straight as one-piece cloth to the next arm-hole. Repeat the previously described actions and continue work with the right front. For the right sleeve, take off the auxiliary yarn. After getting open sts, cast them on circle knitting needles. Then, make sleeve around with a 2 x 2 rib, place a marker on the st located on the edge of the side seam (middle st). For forming side chamfers, make decreases in the following way: make knit2tog in every 2nd row due to the ornament before the central st and the next 2 sts after the central st. At 50 cm height from arm-holes, bind off the rest sts. Make the left sleeve in the same way.
