How to Crochet a Stylish Skirt Using Violet Malva Yarn


You’ll Need:
900g of violet Malva yarn (50% cotton, 50% viscose; 350m/75g);
25g of white yarn (100% cotton; 125m/25g);
25g of the same yarn, but in yellow, light-pink, green, and purple colors;
Crochet hook 1.5.

Used Patterns
Flat Cord: Make 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the 1st chain stitch.
Turn your work clockwise. Insert the crochet hook in 2 parallel stitches and make 1 single crochet. Turn your work clockwise. Continue in the same way to the needed length of the cord.Stitches Control: 5.5 pattern repeats x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm (according to scheme 1).
Note: The skirt consists of 2 layers, worked around without side seams from down to up.
Instructions
Lower Layer
Make 840 chain stitches with main yarn and circle them, then make the pattern according to scheme 1 (105 pattern repeats). After completing 75 rows around, make the 1st row without fastening according to scheme 2 and finish your work. Make fastening according to scheme 3 along the set-up row.
Upper Layer
Make 320 chain stitches with main yarn and circle them in the ring, working according to scheme 1 with circular rows (40 pattern repeats). After completing 52 rows around, make 3 rows of fastening according to scheme 4 and finish your work.
Assembly
Sew the lower layer to the bottom of the upper layer. For the fringe, make 51 motifs according to scheme 5 with main yarn (only the 1st and 2nd rows), connect them in a ring, and sew them to the bottom of the skirt, stepping back 14 cm from the edge. For the belt, make a flat cord of 1.4 m and insert it along the upper edge of the skirt.
