Used Patterns

Relief Pattern A

Make according to the scheme. The quantity of stitches is multiplied 10 + 1 + 2 selvedge stitches. Only right-side rows are indicated on the scheme.

Make wrong-side rows and yarn overs as purls. The first and last stitches in the row are selvedge stitches. Between them is the pattern repeat. Make the 1st-28th rows in height once.

Relief Pattern B

Make in the same way as Relief Pattern A, but repeat the 29th-36th rows in height.

Relief Pattern C

Make in the same way as Relief Pattern A, but repeat the 37th-60th rows in height.

Patterns Order

28 rows of Pattern A, 128 rows of Pattern B, 52 rows of Pattern C. Totaling 208 rows.

Stitches Control:

20.5 stitches x 24.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 113; 133 stitches and make 1 row of knit stitches. This row is a wrong-side row and is not included in calculations. Continue work alternating the patterns. For the back, increase 10 stitches x 1 from both sides for the sleeves in 156 rows (63.5 cm); 146 rows (59.5 cm), including these stitches into the ornament. Totaling 133 (153) stitches. In 194 rows (79 cm) from the beginning, bind off 7 (8) stitches x 1 for the shoulder line from each side, then, 7 stitches x 1 in every 2nd row and 6 stitches x 5; 8 stitches x 1, 7 stitches x 5. In 208 rows (85 cm) from the beginning, there are 45; 51 stitches left. 33; 37 stitches of these are for the neck-hole, while the rest 12; 17 stitches are for shoulders (2 x 6; 7 stitches).

Left Front

Make 63; 73 stitches and make 1 row of knit stitches. This row is a wrong-side row and is not included in calculations. Continue work, alternating the patterns. Make increases for sleeves according to the description of the back. Totaling 73; 83 stitches. In 158 rows (64.5 cm) from the bottom part, bind off 1 stitch x 1 for neck-hole chamfer and 1 stitch x 22; 24 in every 2nd row. Don’t forget to make decreases along the left side for shoulder chamfer. Use the description of the back for this. Bind off 6; 7 stitches for shoulders at the same height as in the back.

Right Front

Make in reflection to the left half.

Assembly

Sew up the shoulders and sides. Sew the sleeves. Fasten the edges of the front and neck-hole with 1 row of slip stitches using a crochet hook.
