Relief Pattern with Cables
Relief pattern with cables (13 sts wide): due to the scheme 1, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows according to the pattern, with yarn overs as purls. Repeat the pattern and finish with sts after the pattern repeat. Repeat 1st-16th rows.
Pattern of Cables
Pattern of cables (11 sts wide): due to the scheme 2, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows according to the pattern. Repeat the pattern and finish with sts after the pattern repeat. Repeat 1st-8th rows.
Stitches Control
Relief pattern with cables: 21 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Pattern of cables: 23.5 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Bottom of Back
Cast on 115 sts and work with the pattern of cables between selvage sts. In 35 cm from the set-up row, bind off the sts.
Right/Left Bottom of Front
Cast on 60 sts and work with the pattern of cables between selvage sts. In 35 cm from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.
Right Part of Yoke with Sleeve
Cast on 47 sts and make 5 cm of rib between selvage sts. After that, work with the relief pattern of cables, starting from arrow A. For sleeve chamfers, increase 7 x 1 st in every 8th row from both sides and 4 x 1 st in every 7th row, including the increased sts in the pattern. In 32 cm from rib, increase 6 x 1 st, 4 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 5 sts, and 2 x 18 sts in every 2nd row from both sides, including the increased sts in the pattern. Knit straight on all 149 sts for 14.5 cm. Then, leave the first 74 sts for the front. Continue work on the remaining sts, decreasing 1 x 2 sts along neck-hole and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row. In 10 cm from the beginning of neck-hole, leave the sts. Work on the sts of front, bind off 10 x 6 sts and 3 x 5 sts in every 2nd row for neck-hole chamfer.
Left Part of Yoke with Sleeve
Make in symmetry to the right part.
Assembly
Connect the parts of yoke with sleeves on back using Kitchener stitch. Sew bottom parts of back and front to the yoke with sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch” with the help of a crochet hook. Sew on the button-hook.
