How to Crochet a Stylish Pullover: Step-by-Step Instructions

You’ll Need:
400 (450) 500g of brown-blue mélange Canto yarn (56% polyacryl, 40% sheep wool, 4% silk; 115m/50g);
Crochet hook 6;
Circular knitting needles 4.5.
Size:
S (M) L.
Used Patterns:
Main Pattern:
The quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 3 + 1 chain st increase. Work due to the scheme. Start every row with 1 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st single or double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat.
* Make 1st-12th rows x once, then, 11th-12th rows x 4 times = totally, 20 rows; repeat from *, make sts in every following row as it’s stated in the 21st row – behind chain st of the previous row.Pattern for Sleeves:
Make in the same way as the main pattern, but make 1st-10th rows x once, then, repeat 3rd-10th rows.
2 x 2 rib.
Stitches Control:
Main pattern: 16 sts x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Pattern for sleeves: 17 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions:
Back:
Make 75 (81) 87 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the main pattern = 12 (13) 14 pattern repeats + 2 initial sts + 1 final st. In 53.5 cm = 48 rows (55.5 cm = 50 rows) 58 cm = 52 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 4 pattern repeats (3 + ½ pattern repeat from both sides) for neck-hole and decrease 1 st every time for the symmetry; finish both sides separately. In 55.5 cm = 50 rows (58 cm = 52 rows) 60 cm = 54 rows from the set-up row, finish your work on the rest 26 (29) 32 sts of shoulder from both sides.
Front:
Make in the same way as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 46.5 cm = 42 rows (49 cm = 44 rows) 51 cm = 46 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 2 pattern repeats (1 + ½ pattern repeat from both sides) and decrease 1 st for the symmetry, leave 2 x ½ pattern repeat in every 2nd row from inwards for rounding.
Sleeves:
Make 41 (47) 53 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with pattern for sleeves. Make 1 single or double crochet in the beginning and end of every row = 6 (7) 8 pattern repeats + 3 initial and 2 final sts. In 23.5 cm = 26 rows (20 cm = 22 rows) 16.5 cm = 18 rows from the set-up row, increase 10 (12) 14 sts for the next 28 (32) 36 rows from both sides for sleeve chamfers, making increases only in the 5th, 6th, 9th or 10th row and making single or double crochets per the pattern = 61 (71) 81 sts. Finish in 49 cm = 54 rows from the set-up row.
Assembly:
Make shoulder seams. Cast on 108 sts with circular knitting needles and make a collar of 22 cm of rib according to the pattern. Sew up the sleeves, connect the middle of sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the lower edge and sleeves of the pullover with 1 circle row of single crochets and 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”.
