Complete Guide to Crochet Garment with Zigzag and Leaf Patterns

You’ll Need:

650g of brown Flora yarn (60% cotton, 40% viscose; 140m/50g);

Crochet hook 3.5;

Wooden beads.

Size:

S.

Used Patterns:

Pattern with Zigzags:

The quantity of stitches is multiple 22 + 1 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme 1. Repeat the pattern, finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

Make 1st-7th rows once and 3rd-7th rows once = 12 rows;

Pattern with Leaves:

The quantity of stitches is multiple 12 + 11 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme 2, which states the last row of double crochets (RS). Start with stitches before the pattern, pattern repeat, finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Repeat 1st-7th rows once;

Pattern with Shells:

The quantity of stitches is multiple 12 + 9 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme 3, which states the last row of pattern with leaves (WS). Repeat the pattern, finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Make 1st-9th rows once, then repeat 2nd-9th rows.

Stitches Control:

24 stitches x 9.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Make 133 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and make 12 rows with zigzags pattern. Then, make 11 rows of double crochets, decrease 2 stitches in the last row (make 2 double crochets together) = 131 stitches. Then, make 7 rows with leaves pattern, decrease 14 stitches in the last row = 117 stitches. Then, work with pattern with shells. In 58.5 cm from the set-up row, leave 12 stitches from both sides for arm-holes. In 76 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front:

Make in the same way as back, but with V-shape neck-hole. For this, in 44 cm from the set-up row, leave the central stitch and finish both sides separately. For chamfer, decrease 30 x 1 stitch from inwards. Finish your work at the height of back.

Sleeves:

Make 89 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and make 12 rows with pattern with zigzags. Then, make 11 rows of double crochets, decrease 6 stitches in the last row = 83 stitches. Then, make 7 rows with pattern with leaves, decrease 2 stitches in the last row = 81 stitches. Then, work with pattern with shells. In 58 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly:

Make shoulder seams, sew up the sleeves, make sleeve and side seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 2 rows of single crochets.
