You’ll Need:

175 (200) 225f of dark-green yarn;

Knitting needles 3.5;

Circular knitting needles 3.5.

Size:

S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Relief Pattern

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 6 + 2 selvage stitches = due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls.

Repeat the pattern between selvage stitches. Make 1st-16th rows x once, then make 1st-8th rows x once = totally, 24 rows.

Main Pattern

* 2 rows of purls in 2 threads of yarn, 24 rows with relief pattern with 1 thread of yarn, 2 rows of knit stitches with 2 threads of yarn*; repeat from * to *.

Stitches Control

19 stitches x 28.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 80 (92) 104 stitches in 2 threads of yarn and make 1 WS row of knit stitches (don’t take this row into account). Continue work with the main pattern. In 65.5 cm = 186 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 22 (26) 30 stitches for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from inwards. In 69.5 cm = 198 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 26 (30) 34 stitches for the shoulders.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but in 43 cm = 122 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 2 stitches for the V-shape neck-hole, then bind off 13 (15) 17 x 1 stitch in every 4th row from inwards.

Sleeves

Cast on 44 (50) 56 stitches for each sleeve in 2 threads of yarn and make 1 WS row of knit stitches. Continue work with the main pattern. At the same time, increase 12 x 1 stitch in every 10th row from both sides for sleeve chamfers (15 x 1 stitch in every 8th row), 18 x 1 stitch in every 6th and 8th rows due to the pattern = 68 (80) 92 stitches. In 49 cm = 140 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the stitches.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. For plackets, cast on 170 (178) 186 stitches along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and make 4 circle rows of knit stitches. Then, bind off all the stitches as knit stitches. Sew up the sleeves and make side and sleeve seams.
