Instructions
Back
Cast on 127 (147) stitches using 4.5 mm knitting needles in a crossed way, and knit for 17 cm = 48 rows (20 cm = 56 rows) following pattern A.
Then, make 11.5 cm (= 40 rows) using colors order A, and decrease 24 (28) stitches in the last row. You will have 103 (119) stitches remaining. Switch to 3.5 mm knitting needles and work 16 cm = 48 rows (18.5 cm = 56 rows) as per pattern B. Continue with colors order B.
Simultaneously, in 5 cm (= 16 rows) from pattern B, bind off 1 x 6 (7) stitches from both sides every 2nd row, and perform 17 (20) x 1 marked double decreases for armholes. You should end up with 23 (250) stitches.
At 16.5 cm height = 52 rows (18.5 cm = 58 rows) from pattern B, bind off all stitches with beige yarn.
Front
Follow the same procedure as for the back but utilize pattern C for the 1st-48th (1st-56th) rows.
Assembly
Sew the side seams. Cast on 15 stitches and work using pattern 6 with mélange gray yarn and 3.5 mm knitting needles along the armhole chamfer for 5 cm on the front detail starting from the upper corner. Once the straps reach 15 (16) cm in length, bind off the stitches.
Sew the loose ends of the straps to the back chamfer from both sides at 5 cm, starting from the upper corner. Create fringe for finishing touches.
