You’ll Need:
550 (600)g of turquoise Limbo yarn (100% sheep wool; 125m/50g);
Knitting needles 3.5 and 4.
Size:
S (M).
Instructions:
Start with the collar and knit down. Cast on 132 (143) stitches and work with the main pattern according to the scheme in circular rows, repeating the pattern 12 (13) times.
Make the 3rd circular row in the same manner as the 1st circular row. Create the 1st through 6th circular rows three times, resulting in a total of 6 cm.
Then, continue work from the 19th circular row of the scheme, enlarging the main pattern by increasing stitches. Make every 2nd row larger between crossings, increasing 2 knit stitches. After crossings, increase 1 purl before and after each knit stitch until the pattern repeat totals 45 stitches, comprising 11 purls, 22 knit stitches, 1 purl, and 1 patent stitch, culminating in a total of 540 (585) stitches.
Knit straight for 20 circular rows. At 46 cm from the collar, decrease 0 (1) stitch to achieve a total of 540 (584) stitches. Leave 46 (48) stitches for sleeves and 88 (98) stitches for the placket, binding off 68 (73) stitches between them.
Make side seams at 33.5 (36.5) cm using the Kitchener stitch.
For the sleeves, knit 20 cm of ribbing on the previously left 46 (48) stitches in circular rows and bind off stitches according to the pattern.
Lastly, knit 20 cm of ribbing on the previously left 176 (196) stitches in circular rows for the front and back, binding off stitches according to the pattern.
