Instructions
Back
Cast on 108 (116) 124 (132) sts with knitting needles 4.5 and work with relief pattern due to the scheme (1st row is WS row).
When the length of the detail is 44 cm, start making arm-holes. For this, place a marker in the center of the back and bind off 3, 2, 1, 1, 1 st at the beginning of every row from both sides = 92 (100) 108 (116) sts. When the height of arm-holes is 23 (24) 25 (26) cm from the marker, start forming neck-hole: bind off the central 18 (18) 22 (22) sts and finish both sides separately. Then, bind off 3, 2 sts in the next 2 rows from inwards. At the same time, bind off 10, 11, 11 (12, 12, 12) 12, 13, 13 (14, 14, 14) sts from both sides for shoulder chamfers at the beginning of every row.Front
Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. When there are 11 cm left to the end of the detail, bind off the central 8 (8) 10 (10) sts and finish both sides separately. Bind off 3, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1 (3, 2, 1, 1, 1) 3, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1 (3, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1) sts at the beginning of every row for smooth rounding. Bind off the sts in the same way as for the back.
Sleeves
Cast on 52 (56) 60 (64) sts with knitting needles 4.5 and work with relief pattern according to the scheme (1st row is WS row).
Note: Divide the pattern into both sides from the center, marked with an arrow on the scheme. When the length of the detail is 10 cm, increase 1 st from both sides (after/before selvage sts). Repeat these increases in every 6th row, including the increased sts in the pattern = there are 84 (88) 92 (96) sts. When the length of the sleeve is about 48 (49) 50 (51) cm, bind off 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 2 x 4 sts, 2 x 5 sts at the beginning of every row for the sleeve cap. Then, bind off the remaining sts.
Assembly
Sew the details from RS with Kitchener’s stitch. Make all the seams. Sew up the sleeves into the arm-holes.
