You’ll Need:

1000g of roving yarn (100% acrylic), twisted with 2 threads of yarn in aquamarine color;

Knitting needles size 9.

Size:

Small (S).

Used Patterns:

  • Garter stitch: all knit stitches;
  • Stockinette stitch: in right side rows – knit stitches, in wrong side rows – purls;
  • Wrong-side pattern: in right side rows – purls, in wrong side rows – knit stitches;
  • Fancy pattern: following schemes 1, 2, and 3.

Stitches Control:

11 stitches x 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back

Cast on 52 stitches and work as follows: 1 selvage stitch, 5 stitches of stockinette stitch, 8 stitches according to scheme 1, 24 stitches according to scheme 2, 8 stitches according to scheme 1, 5 stitches of stockinette stitch, 1 selvage stitch. At 68 cm height, decrease 4 x 1 stitch after the 1 selvage stitch in every 2nd row from both sides for armholes = 44 stitches. At 89 cm height, bind off 9 stitches for each shoulder and 26 stitches for the neck-hole.

Front

Follow the same instructions as for the back. At 80 cm height, bind off the central 12 stitches for the neck-hole, then, 1 x 3 stitches in every 2nd row from both sides, and 2 x 2 stitches. At 89 cm height, bind off the stitches for each shoulder.

Sleeves

Cast on 26 stitches and work 8 cm of garter stitch. Continue as follows: 1 selvage stitch, 5 stitches of wrong-side pattern, 3 stitches of stockinette stitch, 8 stitches according to scheme 1, 3 stitches of stockinette stitch, 5 stitches of wrong-side pattern, 1 selvage stitch. Increase 5 x 1 stitch in every 6th row = 36 stitches. At 34 cm height from garter stitch: decrease 2 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row, then bind off 3 x 3 stitches and the remaining 10 stitches. The total height is approximately 55 cm.

Assembly

Make one shoulder seam. For the collar, lift all the stitches along the neck-hole line and make 16 cm according to scheme 3, then bind off the stitches. Make the second shoulder seam and sew the collar. Complete the remaining seams and sew up the sleeves into the armholes.
