You’ll Need:
550g of white yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic; 600m/100g);
Knitting needles 2.5.

Size: XL-XXL.
Used Patterns
- 1 x 1 rib;
- Brioche stitch:
- 1st row: 1 knit stitch, slip 1 purl with yarn over;
- 2nd row: make the slipped stitch together with yarn over as knit2tog, slip purl with yarn over.
- Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit stitches, in WS row – purls.
Stitches Control: 15 stitches x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 100 stitches and make 4 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Then, work with brioche stitch for 44 cm straight. After that, bind off 8 stitches from both sides for armholes. Next, knit 22 cm straight, transfer the stitches to an auxiliary needle, and leave them.
Front
Make the front in the same way as the back up to the armhole. At 48 cm height from the beginning of the armhole, bind off 10 stitches from both sides. Then, knit straight for 12 cm, then divide all the stitches into 3 equal parts (24 stitches for each part). Leave the central 10 stitches on the auxiliary needle and knit each part separately, decreasing 6 x 1 stitch in every RS row from inwards. Continue knitting straight to a height of 10 cm for the neck-hole. Bind off the remaining stitches of the shoulder. Make the second half of the neck-hole in symmetry.
Sleeves
Cast on 48 stitches + 2 selvage stitches and make 5 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Then, work with stockinette stitch, increasing 1 stitch in every 3 stitches in the 1st row. For sleeve chamfers, increase 1 stitch from both sides in every 5th row. At 39 cm height, bind off the stitches.
Assembly
Make one shoulder seam. Cast on 100 stitches along the neck-hole (slipping the previously knitted stitches of the front and back neck-hole), then make a collar using 1 x 1 cm for 20 cm. Complete the second shoulder seam, sew up the sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams.
Love the simple white sweater pattern.
Question about the yarn: There is no yarn weight mentioned. Just color and fibercontent and using 2 threads of yarn. Needle size indicates possible fingering or sport.
Would appreciate this as I would like to make this as pattern is apparently in my size range.
