How to Crochet a Stylish Jacket with Novita Bambu Yarn

You’ll Need:

500-600g of Novita Bambu yarn in beige color (68% bamboo, 32% cotton);

Crochet hook size 3;

8 buttons.

Size

Chest circumference: 120 cm;

Length: 64 cm;

Inner length of sleeve: 47 cm.

Instructions

At first, make a pattern design in natural size.

Back

Make 172 chain stitches and work with the main pattern according to scheme 1.

At 39 cm height, decrease 1.5 pattern repeats from both sides and continue work according to scheme 2. Match all the increases and decreases with the pattern design.

At 25 cm of arm-hole, make the 8^th row of the scheme and cut the yarn. Create the other side in the same way, but don’t cut the yarn. Make the 8^th row of the scheme along the edges of the detail (first one shoulder, then the other).

Left Front

Make 84 chain stitches and work with the main pattern. Make decreases according to scheme 2. At 25 cm of arm-hole, make the 8^th row of the scheme and cut the yarn. Fasten the front edge of the detail with the 1^st -3^rd rows of the main pattern.

Right Front

Work in symmetry with the left front.

Sleeves

Make 76 chain stitches and work according to scheme 3.

Make decreases according to scheme 2 and your pattern design.

Assembly

Collect all your details. Create a collar using double crochets and fasten the edges of your jacket, leaving holes for buttons.
