Stockinette Stitch

In right-side rows - knit stitches, in wrong-side rows - purls;

Relief Pattern

Due to the scheme. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Repeat 1st-10th rows.

Stitch Control

Relief pattern: 25.5 stitches x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm; stockinette stitch: 25.5 stitches x 37 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Skirt

Cast on 301 stitches + 2 selvedge stitches. Make 66 cm with relief pattern. Continue with stockinette stitch on 4 cm. Decrease stitches in the 1st row, knitting 90 stitches as knit2tog. In the 3rd row, repeat this decrease, knitting 77 (69) stitches as knit2tog. You should get 134 (142) stitches + 2 selvedge stitches. Bind off the stitches.

Upper Part of Front

Cast on 66 (72) stitches + 2 selvedge stitches. Continue knitting with stockinette stitch. At 6 cm from the beginning, bind off 8 stitches from both sides for the armholes. At 12 (14) cm from the bottom part, bind off central 6 stitches for the neck-hole and finish each part separately. For rounding of neck-hole, bind off 3 stitches x 1, 2 stitches x 2, 1 stitch x 3 along the inner edge in even rows. Bind off the rest of shoulder stitches at 16 (18) cm from the bottom part.

Upper Part of Back

Make this detail in the same way as the front, but add a vent. For this, at 10 (12) cm from the beginning, you should divide your work into 2 parts and finish each part separately. At 14 (16) cm from the bottom part, bind off 6 stitches x 1 for the neck-hole; then, 3 stitches x 1, 2 stitches x 2 in even rows. Bind off the rest of shoulder stitches at the height of the front.

Sleeves

Cast on 51 (63) stitches + 2 selvedge stitches. Start making sleeves with a relief pattern. 1 stitch from both sides - stockinette stitch. At 22.5 (25.5) cm from the bottom part, bind off the stitches.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Fasten the edges of the vent and neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of "shrimp stitch". Make a button-hole in 1 row from any side: skip 1 base stitch, 1 chain stitch. Sew the sleeves, connecting the center with the shoulder seam. Make side and sleeve seams. Sew the skirt to the upper part. Insert satin lace in the holes of the relief pattern and make a bow.
