Relief pattern 2: due to the scheme 2;
Relief pattern 3: due to the scheme 3;
Garter stitch: knit sts.
Instructions
Back
Cast on 164 sts with green yarn and work with relief pattern 1. At 30 cm height, make 1 row of knit 2 together from WS of work = 82 sts. Then, make yoke with garter stitch for 1 cm, followed by 3 cm of relief pattern 1, increasing 1 st at the end of every row. Then, cast on 36 sts for each sleeve at the end of RS and WS rows. Make a vertical cut in the middle of the back; to do this, divide the sts in half, preserve the sts of the right half, and work only with the sts of the left half. At 12 cm height of sleeve, bind off all the sts. Construct the other side of neck-hole in the same manner.
Front
Construct in the same way as the back up to the yoke. Then, transfer the central 50 sts to the auxiliary needle (leaving 16 sts on each side), increase 2 sts for seam, and first, work on the left half of the yoke with the sleeve, then the right half with relief pattern 1. Bind off all the sts at the height of the back. Then, work on the previously retained 50 sts, increasing 2 sts from both sides for seam, and work 10 cm with relief pattern 2. Next, bind off the central 12 sts for neck-hole and complete each part separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, and 3 x 1 st. Continue to knit straight to the end of work.
Ruffles
Create 70 sts with white yarn for vertical ruffles and 110 sts for horizontal ruffles. Make 1 row of relief pattern 3 and 1.5 cm of garter stitch with green yarn. Bind off the sts.
Cuffs
Create 72 sts with white yarn, make ruffles as described previously. Make 1 row of 2 knit 2 together and complete the remaining part of the cuff with relief pattern 2.
Assembly
Stitch the side seams of the yoke, sew on ruffles. Join the front and back details together, attach ruffles to the neck-hole, and sew cuffs to sleeves. Embroider flowers with white yarn on the yoke. Finish the neck-hole with single crochets using a crochet hook size 2, and create 3 button-holes.
What a nice baby dress!
