Crochet hook size 3.5 and 4;

Used Patterns
Work with 2 threads of yarn. The patterns are as follows:
1 Shell Pattern
1 shell consists of 4 double crochets, 2 crossed double crochets.
Skip the first 3 double crochets on the first shell, make 1 double crochet in the next double crochet, and chain 2 to form an arch. Then, make 1 double crochet behind the first double crochet in the skipped double crochets. This pattern alternates between 1 shell in odd rows and 2 crossed double crochets in even rows.Fancy Pattern
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 4 + 1 + 3 chain stitch increase. The row instructions are as follows:
- 1st Row (RS): 1 shell in the 6th chain stitch, skip 3 chain stitches, and repeat the shell in every next chain stitch. Finish with 1 double crochet in the last chain stitch.
- 2nd Row: Chain 2, then make 2 crossed double crochets in every shell, finishing with 1 half crochet in the 3rd chain stitch of the previous row.
- 3rd Row: Chain 3, then make 1 shell in every arch of the following 2 chain stitches and finish with 1 double crochet in the 2nd chain stitch of the previous row. Repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows after making the first 3 rows once.
Half-Crochets Pattern
The half-crochet pattern is as follows:
- 1st Row (RS): Make 1 half crochet in the 3rd chain stitch (this forms the first 2 half crochets), followed by making 1 half crochet in every subsequent chain stitch.
- 2nd Row and all following rows: Chain 2 for increase, make 1st half-crochet, followed by 1 half crochet in the 2nd half-crochet and every subsequent half-crochet.
Stitches Control
For the fancy pattern, you will have: 24 stitches x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
For the half-crochet pattern, you will have: 18 stitches x 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 116 (124) 132 (144) chain stitches. Work with the fancy pattern, making 28 (30) 32 (35) motifs = 114 (122) 130 (142) stitches in the first row. After 24 cm (24 rows) from the set-up row, decrease by 3 x 1 motif over 6 rows, resulting in 22 (24) 26 (29) shells = 90 (98) 106 (118) stitches.
After 51 cm (51 rows) from the set-up row, change to crochet hook size 3.5. Make 2 chain stitches and then 1 half crochet in every of the first 3 double crochets of the next shell. Skip 1 double crochet, and continue making 1 half crochet in every of the next 3 double crochets, resulting in 68 (74) 80 (89) half crochets. Start working with the half-crochet pattern from the 2nd row of the description and increase 3 x 1 half-crochet in every 6th row / 3 x 1 half crochet in every 6th row / 3 x 1 half crochet in every 7th row / 3 x 1 half crochet in every 7th row until you have 74 (80) 86 (95) stitches.
Finish your work in 65 (66) 68 (69) cm (73 (75) 78 (80) rows) from the set-up row.
Front
Make the front in the same way as the back.
Straps
Make 55 chain stitches with crochet hook size 3.5 and work 3 rows of the half-crochet pattern to finish.
Assembly
Sew the right seam of the dress. Then, sew along the second side, leaving an 18 cm gap for the zipper. Finally, sew the straps to the back and front with a distance of 15 (16) 17 (18) cm from each other.
