Crochet Dress and Hat Pattern for 2-Year-Olds

You’ll Need:

120g of pink Go Go yarn (100% cotton; 240m/50g);

25g of the same yarn, but in white color;

25g of the same yarn, but in violet color;

Crochet hook size 2;

1 button;

Beads.

Dress

Make 272 chain stitches and create the yoke according to scheme 1. Then, divide the number of pattern repeats of the yoke into the back, 2 halves of the front, and sleeves.

Connect the front and back to form armholes and make 1 circular row of double crochets along the back and front. After that, create the skirt according to scheme 2 to the desired length, changing the color of yarn as shown in the photo. Finish the bottom of the skirt with picots. Make a ruffle along the edge of the yoke by working with tambour stitch, making 3 double crochets in every stitch, and complete with 2 rows of double crochets without increases. Secure the upper part of the yoke with 2 rows of double crochets and 2 rows according to scheme 3. Make a button-loop of 5-7 chain stitches on the back and sew on the button. Create 1 pink, 2 violet, and 3 white flowers according to scheme 4 and attach them to the dress as shown in the photo.

Hat

Make 9 chain stitches and circle them into a ring with a slip stitch. Then, make 32 double crochets in the ring and follow scheme 5 to the desired depth. After that, work according to scheme 2:

• 1^st pattern repeat – violet yarn;
• 2^nd pattern repeat – white yarn.

Make a flower according to scheme 6 and sew it onto the hat.
