How to Crochet a Beautiful Mercerized Cotton Garment



You'll Need:
100% mercerized cotton (663m/200g);
Crochet hook 2.5.
Sizes:
Height: 86 (98, 110/112, 134) cm.
Chest: 56 (62, 70, 76) cm.
Length: 27 (30, 36, 40) cm.
Sleeves: 11 (12, 16, 18) cm.
Stitches Control:
Width of pattern repeat = 3.5 cm, 12 rows = 10 cm.
Instructions:
Make work, starting from shoulder down.
Back:
Make 76 (88, 100, 112) chain sts. Crochet due to the scheme 1 (6 (7, 8, 9) pattern repeats). Repeat 3rd-4th rows to 13 (14, 15, 16) cm height, finish with the 4th row.
Add one more pattern repeat from each side (see scheme 2).
Front:
Make 28 chain sts for the right front. Make 1st-4th rows due to the scheme 1. Then, make increases from neck-hole side due to the scheme 3, leave the cloth straight around the arm-holes.
Make 1 pattern repeat (see scheme 2) after crocheting 13 (14, 15, 16) cm.
Continue crocheting with making increases from neck-hole 3 (2, 5, 4) cm, then straight cloth due to the scheme 1.
Finish the 4th row at 27 (30, 36, 40) cm height.
Left front is made in symmetry with the right.
Sleeve:
Make 88 (100, 100, 112) chain sts. Crochet due to the scheme 1 for 15 (16, 20, 22) cm, finish with the 4th row of the scheme. Make the second sleeve in the same way.
Assembly:
Sew shoulders, fronts, sleeves, and make shoulder seams. Fasten the fronts and neck-hole with 2 rows of single crochets.
Make 2 chains of chain sts 25 cm long and sew them to the edges of fronts as straps.
