Measurement: diameter is 3.3 inches / 8.5 cm.

ch 3 = 3 chain stitches

sc = single crochet

dc = double crochet

trc = treble crochet

FPdc = front post double crochet

BPsc = back post single crochet

sl st = slip stitch

How to crochet sunflower:

Start brown cotton yarn. Make ch 5 and join to rhe ring.

Row 1: Ch 3 (count as 1 dc), 9 dc around, sl st to ch-3.

Row 2: Sl st ( move to space between dc-stitches), ch 3 (count as 1 dc), 1 dc into same stitch, ( 1 FPdc into top dc, 2 dc into space between dc-stitches ) x 9 times, 1 FPdc into top dc, sl st to join.

Row 3: 3 sl st (move to top of FPdc), ch 1 (count as 1 sc), (ch 3, 4 double cluster into space between dc-stitches, ch 3, 1 sc into top of FPdc ) x 10 times, sl st to join. Fasten off.

Next work on the back of the flower. Join yellow cotton yarn to back loop of FPdc .

Row 4: (Ch 9, BPsc into FPdc ) x 10 times, sl st to join.

Row 5: Ch 1 (count as 1 sc) , (ch 6, 2 trc into same ch-9 arch, ch 6, 1 sc into top of BPsc ) x 10 times, sl st to join.

Row 6: Ch 1, (5 sc into ch-6 arch, ch 1, 1 dc into space between 2 trc, 1 trc into same space, ch-3 picot, 1 trc into same space, 1 dc into same space, ch 1, 5 sc into ch-6 arch ) x 10 times, sl st to join. Fasten off.
