How to Crochet a Beautiful Pullover

Main Pattern: 1 Motif (Square)

Work with circle rows according to the scheme. Make 6 chain stitches and circle them in the ring with 1 slip stitch. Then, work in the following way:

• 1^st Circle Row: 12 single crochets around, replace the 1^st single crochet with 2 chain stitches, finish the circle row with 1 slip stitch in the 2^nd chain stitch increase;

• 2^nd Circle Row: Make “beads” and chain stitches, finish the circle row with 3 chain stitches increase and 1 double crochet in the first “bead”;

• 3^rd Circle Row: Make arches and single crochets, replace the 1^st single crochet with 2 chain stitches. Make “beads” in the corners, then, make 3 chain stitches and 1 slip stitch in the upper part of the “bead”, finish the circle row with 1 slip stitch. Repeat 1^st-3^rd circle rows x once.

Stitches Control

11 stitches x 16 rows = 6 x 6 cm;

1 square = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Front and Back

Make 40 squares, connect them according to the pattern design in the following way: in the 3^rd circle row, starting from the 2^nd square, join to the previous squares. For this, make 1 single crochet in the arch of chain stitches instead of the central chain stitch of the previous square. Make 1 slip stitch instead of the central chain stitch in the corner stitches of the previous square. At first, connect 8 squares in a row, then, connect the 8^th square with the 1^st square to make a circle. Make 3 more rows in the same manner = 16 squares. Then, make 1 row of 4 squares for the back, and create 1 square from both sides, leaving space for the neck-hole in the front part. At the same time, make the shoulder seams, connecting the squares of the front shoulders with the corresponding squares of the back shoulders.

Sleeves

Make 12 squares for each sleeve and connect them according to the pattern design. For this, connect 3 squares in a row, and connect the third square with the first square to make a circle. Make 3 more rows in the same way.

Assembly

Sew up the sleeves in the armholes. Fasten all the edges with 1 circle row of “shrimp stitch”, making 4 or 3 single crochets in the arches of squares by turn, and make 1 single crochet in the corner stitches between 2 corner stitches. Finish all the circle rows with 1 slip stitch in the 1^st chain stitch. Cast on 66 stitches along the lower part of the back and make 6 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Repeat these actions with the front part of the pullover. For the cuffs, cast on 26 stitches with circular knitting needles and make 6 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Make the second cuff in the same way. For the collar, cast on 80 stitches along the neck-hole line with circular knitting needles, make 1 cm of stockinette stitch, then, make 16 cm of 2 x 2 rib.
