Used Patterns
Pattern of Arches
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 8 + 1 + 1 chain stitch increase. Work according to scheme 1. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, work pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat.
Net Pattern
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 6 + 1 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme 2. Make rows 1-3 once, then repeat rows 2 and 3.
Stitches Control
- Pattern of arches: 20 stitches x 10.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
- Net pattern: 22 stitches x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 89 (97) 105 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the pattern of arches. In 15 cm = 16 rows from the set-up row, leave 4 stitches from both sides for armholes and 4 x 2 stitches in every row. In 34 cm = 3 rows (36 cm = 38 rows) or 38 cm = 40 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. For the lower part, make 85 (97) 103 single crochets along the set-up row of the upper part. Then, work with the net pattern: make arches of 3 chain stitches instead of 2 chain stitches in 5 rows, in the next 8 rows – arches of 4 chain stitches, and in the following 8 rows – arches of 5 chain stitches. In 42.5 cm = 34 rows (45 cm = 36 rows) or 47.5 cm = 38 rows from the upper part, make 1 picot instead of 1 chain stitch between double crochets in the last row.
Front
Make in the same way as the back, but with a neck-hole. For thinning, in 5.5 cm = 6 rows (7.5 cm = 8 rows) or 9.5 cm = 10 cm from the set-up row, leave the central stitch and finish both sides separately. Increase 1 stitch from inward. In 14 cm = 15 rows (16 cm = 17 rows) or 18 cm = 19 rows from the set-up row, leave 4 stitches from inward for smooth rounding and 6 x 2 stitches in every row. Finish your work at the height of the back.
Sleeves
Make 65 (73) 81 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the pattern of arches. In 4 cm = 4 rows from the set-up row, leave 4 stitches from both sides for sleeve caps and 13 x 2 stitches in every row. In 18 cm = 19 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. For the lower part, make 67 (73) 79 single crochets along the upper edge, then work with the net pattern: in 7 rows make arches of 3 chain stitches instead of 2 chain stitches, in the next 8 rows – arches of 4 chain stitches, and in the following 10 rows – arches of 5 chain stitches. In 37.5 cm = 30 rows (37.5 cm = 30 rows) or 36 cm = 29 rows from the upper part, make the last row the same way as for the back.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams, sew up the sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the neck-hole and cut with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.” String 15 beads on 2 threads (each) and sew them to the corners of the cut.
