How to Make a Popcorn Stitch
Work 5 dc in place indicated, take your hook out of the 5th dc and insert into the first dc then back into the loop of the 5th dc and pull the loop through the first dc.

Rep from * 4 times more. Join with slst to top of first pop.
RND 2: Slst into the first ch3 space. Ch3, 4dc in ch3 space, take your hook out of the 4th dc and insert into the top of ch3 then back into the loop of the 4th dc and pull the loop through the top of ch3. Ch3. Pop in same ch3 space. Ch3. *(pop ch3, pop in next ch3 space) ch3. Rep from * around. Join with slst to top of first pop.
RND 3: Slst into the first ch3 space. 3sc in same space and in each ch3 space around. Join with slst to first sc. Fasten off and weave ends into the back of the work.
