With bulky yarn scrap from hat, ch 5, sl st tog.
Instructions
Round 1
Ch 3, 14 dc in ring, sl st tog.
Round 2
Ch 3, do 4 dc in the same st. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through (making a popcorn). *Ch 3, skip a st and do 5 dc in the next stitch. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through (making a popcorn). Repeat from * all the way around. (6 popcorns)
Round 3
Attach cream chunky yarn scrap. Attach cream yarn with sl st in ch 3 space from Round 2. Ch 3, do 4 dc in the same st. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through (making a popcorn). Ch 3 and 5 dc in the same space. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through (making a popcorn). Ch 3. *In the next ch 3 space from Round 2, 5 dc. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through (making a popcorn). Ch 3 and 5 dc in the same space. Remove hook and put hook in the top st of ch 3. Put hook back into last dc and pull loop through (making a popcorn). Ch 3. Repeat from * around. Sl st to first popcorn.
Note: You will have 12 popcorns in Round 3, with 2 popcorns in each ch 3 space.
Round 4
Sl st to ch 3 space from Round 3. In that space, do ch 1, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sl st. Repeat pattern for each ch 3 space to make the petals. Fasten off.
Finishing Touches
Leave tails to sew onto whatever item you want to attach it to. In the picture is a hat.
Take scrap fun fur (I used champagne color) and sew in the center. Fluff and tie it off through the hat.
