Start with a ch of 55
Row 1
(Dc, ch1, Dc= V st) V st in 5th chain from hook, * skip 2 ch's, 3dc in next ch, skip 2 ch's, v st in next ch, rep from * across to last 2 chs, sk next ch, dc in last ch: 9 V st
Row 2
Ch3 (counts as first dc), turn; V st in first V st (ch 1 sp), *3 dc in center dc of next 3 dc group, work V st in next V st, repeat from * across to the last st, dc in last st.
Repeat row 2 until dishcloth reaches desired size.
Edging
Ch 1, don't turn, sc evenly around dishcloth, working 3 sc in each corner; join with sl st to first st, finish off.
