How to Create a Crochet Dishcloth with Cotton Yarn




You’ll Need:
250g of 100% cotton yarn of green color;
Crochet hook 1.75.
Size:
130 x 100 cm.Instructions
This dishcloth consists of 24 round, 6 square, and 9 connecting motifs.
Round Motif
Make 8 chain sts in a ring, slip st.
1st row: 6 chain sts. * 1 treble crochet in the ring, 2 chain sts*; repeat from * to * 12 times, slip st;
2nd row: 4 chain sts, 3 treble crochets in the next arch of 2 chain sts of the previous row, * 1 treble crochet in the next treble crochet of the previous row, 3 treble crochets in the next arch of 2 chain sts of the previous row*; repeat from * to * 10 times, totally, 12 times.
Continue work according to the scheme of the round motif for 12 rows, cut the yarn. Connect all the parts together in the last row - 4 motifs (see the scheme).
Square Motif
Attach the yarn to the 12th row of 4 round motifs and crochet around (see the scheme of inward fastening) from 1st to 7th rows. Connect square motifs to one another.
Connecting Motif
Make 10 chain sts in the ring, slip st.
1st row: 35 chain sts. * 1 single crochet in the ring, 34 chain sts*; repeat from * to * 14 times, totally, 16 times, slip st, cut the yarn.
