You’ll Need:

400 (450) 550g of blue yarn (65% merino wool, 35% bamboo; 100m/50g);

Crochet hook size 4.

S (M) L/XL.

Used Patterns

Main Pattern:

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 5 + 2 + 3 chain stitches increase. Work according to scheme 1. Start every row with stitches before pattern repeat, then pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat.

Note:

Initial and final stitches are stated as ½ pattern repeat. Make 1st-3rd rows once, then repeat 2nd-3rd rows.

Lace Pattern:

Initially, the quantity of stitches is multiple of 6. Work with circular rows according to scheme 2. Make 1st-5th rows once.

Stitches Control:

17 stitches x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make 122 (137) 152 chain stitches + 3 chain stitches increase and work with the main pattern = 23 (26) 29 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeat from both sides. In 57 (60) 63 cm = 40 (42) 44 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Fold the bolero in half. Connect the lower 10 (10.5) 11 cm of sides with the help of single crochets; the remaining 18.5 (19.5) 20.5 cm from both sides are open and form armholes.

Make 5 rows of lace pattern along the set-up row and bind off edge, making pattern repeats according to the main pattern.
