Create Your Own Stylish Alpaca Yarn Sweater

You’ll Need:

7 skeins of Lanas stop Alpaca yarn (100% Alpaca; 105m/50g) in color # 357;

Knitting needles 4.

• 2 x 2 rib;
• Garter stitch: all knit sts;
• 3 x 2 rib: * 3 knit sts, 2 purls*;
• Star pattern: due to the scheme.

Instructions:

Back:

Cast on 19 sts with the star pattern (see the scheme). Increase 1 st in the following way in the 46^th row and 271 st of every cable: knit 2 together, don’t slip them from knitting needles, 1 knit st, 1 yarn over, 1 knit st. Continue with 3 x 2 rib. In the 8^th row of rib, bind off the triangle for arm-holes, continue work of the second triangle for the neck-hole, and then decrease this triangle, continue work with the rest 3 triangles for the inner part with rib. Increase 60 sts in the place of decrease for arm-holes and make 12 rows of 3 x 2 rib, 1 row of knit sts, and bind off all the sts.

Sleeves:

Cast on 46 sts and work with 3 x 2 rib, start with 2 knit sts and in 8 cm from the set-up row, increase 11 x 1 st in every 4^th row from both sides. You should get 68 sts. In 42 cm from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 3 sts, 18 x 1 st, 6 x 2 sts from each side in every row. There are 2 sts left, which should be bound off.

Assembly:

Sew the sleeves. Make even rows due to the ornament.
