Crochet Instructions for a Light-Grey Mercerized Cotton Garment

Back

Make 91 chain sts and work with pattern according to scheme 1. At 21 cm height, continue work with scheme 2, decrease 16 sts in the 1^st row = 75 sts.

Front

Make the lower part of 2 details. For the right half, make 21 chain sts and for the left front, make 71 chain sts. Work according to scheme 1. At 21 cm height, connect both details with pattern according to scheme 2, decrease 17 sts in the 1^st row = 75 sts. At 36 cm height from the beginning of work, make arm-holes in the same way as the back. At 55 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off the central 37 sts for the neck-hole and make 13 sts for each shoulder separately. At 57 cm height, finish your work.

Sleeves

Make 51 chain sts and work according to scheme 1. In 12 cm, continue work using scheme 2, decrease 8 sts in the 1^st row = 43 sts and then, increase 5 x 1 st in every 2^nd row from both sides = 53 sts. At 36 cm height from the beginning of work, bind off 4 x 3 sts in every row from both sides = 29 sts and finish your work. Total height = 40 cm.

Gusset

Make 33 chain sts and work according to scheme 2. At 21 cm height, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder, sleeve, and side seams, leaving the front 4 cm open before the cap. Sew up the sleeve in the arm-holes, connect, and sew the remaining 4 cm of sleeves. Sew the gusset between the lower details of the front.
