How to Knit Your Own Stylish Garment



You’ll Need:
200g of grey yarn (100% microfiber; 152m/50g);
100g of the same yarn, but in turquoise color;
Knitting needles size 2.5;
Crochet hook size 3.

Instructions:
Back:
Cast on 100 sts and make 16 cm with 1 x 1 rib. Then, work with stockinette stitch and increase 10 x 1 st, 3 x 2 sts, 1 x 20 sts from both sides in 13 cm = 172 sts. Knit straight for 17 cm, then, bind off 3 x 15 sts, 1 x 24 sts, 1 x 3 sts and 2 x 1 st from both sides.
Front:
Cast on 100 sts and make 16 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Then, bind off the central 54 sts and then finish each front (23 sts for each) separately, increasing sts from the side in the same way as for the back. Decrease 17 x 1 st in every 6th row from inwards for the neck-hole chamfer. At 57 cm height, bind off 2 x 15 sts, 1 x 12 sts from the side for shoulder chamfer. Make another front in symmetry.
Assembly:
For the insert, make 8 motifs according to the scheme, sew them together in 4 pcs. Then, fasten a stripe of 4 motifs with 1 row of single crochets. Sew stripes to the front, as shown in the photo. Make shoulder and side seams. Fasten sleeves and back neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets.
