- 100g of YarnArt yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic);
- Knitting needles 4.5;
- Satin ribbon.

16 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm of faux rib.
Instructions
Knit the faux rib ornament in the following way:
Row Instructions
1st row: 1 knit stitch, 1 purl;
2nd row: 1 purl, insert the knitting needle in the middle of the next stitch from the previous row and make 1 knit stitch. Repeat these actions to the end of the row. Alternate these two rows.
Double Decreases of Stitches
Transfer 2 stitches on the right-hand needle, 1 knit stitch, pull it through the slipped stitch.
Begin Knitting the Faux Rib Ornament
Cast on 73 stitches and knit the faux rib ornament. Start and finish the rib with 1 knit stitch. When the height reaches 9 cm from the edge, bind off 1 stitch from the beginning of the row, then continue making the faux rib ornament, decreasing 16 stitches in one stripe. You need to make 8 double decreases.
After that, make the faux rib ornament again until the height reaches 24 cm from the edge and bind off all the stitches.
