You'll Need:

About 30g of «NAKO» Sirius and Bambino yarn in 5 colors: red (6g) for the flower, light green (9g), a little green, yellow, and orange.

Crochet hook 3 mm.

Instructions

The oven cloth is made with separate details. Start working by making the flower and then the wrong side.

Flower

Use red yarn.

Replace the 1st crochet with a chain stitch, connect the rows with a slip stitch.

First Row

In a ring: *1 single crochet, 3 chain stitches* 8 times. Tighten the ring with the free tail;

Second Row

The first layer of petals. Totally, there are 8 layers. In each arch: *1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 3 double crochets, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet*;

Third Row

8 arches of 4 chain stitches under 8 ready-made petals, attaching with a single crochet, winding the crochet of the 1st row.

Fourth Row

The second layer of petals: *1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 5 double crochets, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet* under each of the 8 arches;

Fifth Row

Similar to the 3rd row, but 6 chain stitches are used, which fasten to the crochet of the 3rd row;

Sixth Row

The third layer of petals: *1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 7 double crochets, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet*;

Seventh Row

8 arches of 7 chain stitches above the petals;

Eighth Row

The last layer: *1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 9 double crochets, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet*.

Your flower is ready.

Square Motif

Make the back part of your oven cloth with light-green yarn.

Start with the ring: make *4 double crochets, 3 chain stitches* 4 times in the ring. Tighten. You'll get an ordinary square.

Make the next rows under the double crochets, in angles (under chain stitch): 2 double crochets, 3 chain stitches, 2 double crochets.

Leaves

Use green yarn.

Make 4 trefoils on 4 petals out of 8.

Attach the red yarn to the top of each petal.

Make 8 chain stitches. Then make a single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, and single crochet down the chain. Slip stitch at the top of the petal. Don't cut the yarn.

Make 9 chain stitches and fasten the chain with a single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, 2 treble crochets, double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet. Attach in the same manner as the first leaf.

For the third leaf, make 8 chain stitches - single crochet, half double crochet, 3 double crochets, half double crochet, and single crochet. Make a slip stitch, cut the yarn, and fasten it.

Make 3 additional leaves.

Fastening

Use yellow yarn.

In the 1st row of fastening, create chains of different lengths (see the scheme), attaching single crochets to the tops of the leaves.

In the next row, fasten with arches of 3 and 5 chain stitches.

Now, make the last row with double crochets.

Attach two square motifs with a crochet hook and orange yarn using single crochets.

Fasten with bunches of double crochets at the common top, and create groups of treble crochets at the angles.

Make a loop at the edge of the oven cloth. Create 15 chain stitches, circle them into a ring, and fasten with 25 single crochets.
