How to Crochet a Nubby Spa Cloth for Exfoliation and Relaxation

Size

The dimensions of the finished spa cloth are 6.5 X 6.5 inches.

Notes

• Read instructions and any notes all the way through before beginning.
• You use the I hook for the first row to make sure it is loose enough to match the last row.
• For the Nubby Spa Cloth in the photo, I used Sugar ‘n Cream Westport.

Materials

• Worsted weight cotton yarn, Sugar & Cream (about 1.25 ounces)
• H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
• I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
• Tapestry needle

Instructions

With I hook, ch 20.

Row 1

Sc in the second chain from hook and in each chain across. Ch 1, turn. (19 sc)

Switch to H hook.

Row 2

Sc in the first st. *Ch 3, sc in next st. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn. (18 loops)

Row 3

Keeping loops to the back side, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. (19 sc)

Rows 4-23

Repeat rows 2 and 3.

Row 24

Sc in each sc across row.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
