How to Crochet a Cactus Flower Pot

You’ll Need:

100g of light-green yarn (100% polyester; 95m/50g);

Odds of dark-pink, bright pink, and light-pink colors yarn.

Crochet hook 2.5;

Stuffing;

Ceramic flower pot (5 cm in diameter).

Instructions

Work through the back loop of the base.

Start with 2 chain stitches.

Make 2 chain stitches.

Creating the Base

1^st row: 6 single crochet in the 2^nd stitch from the crochet hook;

2^nd row: 2 single crochets in every stitch (12 stitches);

3^rd row: * 1 single crochet, 2 single crochets in the next stitch* (18 stitches);

4^th row: * 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next stitch* (24 stitches);

5^th row: * 3 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next stitch* (30 stitches);

6^th row: * 4 single crochets, 2 single crochets in the next stitch* (36 stitches);

7^th-8^th rows: single crochets;

9^th row: * 3 single crochets, 2 single crochets together* (24 stitches);

10^th row: * 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets together* (18 stitches);

11^th-12^th rows: single crochets.

Cut the yarn. Weave in ends.

Flower

Start with 2 chain stitches with dark-pink yarn.

1^st row: 8 single crochets in the 2^nd chain stitch from the crochet hook. Turn to bright-pink yarn;

2^nd row: * 1 single crochet, 4 chain stitches behind back loop, skip the 1^st chain stitch and crochet back 1 single crochet in the last 3 chain stitches, make 1 single crochet in the set-up stitch*, repeat from * to *; Change to light-pink yarn;

3^rd row: * 1 single crochet, 3 chain stitches behind back loop, skip the 1^st chain stitch and make 1 single crochet in the last 2 chain stitches back, 1 single crochet in the set-up stitch*; repeat from * to *.

Cut and fasten the yarn.

Assembly

Sew the flower to the top of the cactus. Fill in with stuffing and sew to the soil in the flower pot.
