Bernat® Bamboo (60 g / 2.1 oz); 63 yards / 57 meters;

Double pointed needles 5 and 5.5 mm;

Circle needles 5 and 5.5 mm.

  • S: 91.5 cm;

Knitting Instructions

Neckband

With smaller circular needle, cast on 55 (60-65-70-80-90) sts. Join in rnd. Place marker on first st.

1st rnd: Purl.

2nd rnd: Knit.

Rep last 2 rnds once more.

Change to larger circular needle and proceed as follows:

Divide for Body and Sleeves

Next rnd: Slip first 46 (48-50-54-64-71) sts onto a length of yarn for Right Sleeve. Cast on 4 sts (left underarm). K64 (72-80-86-104-118) for Front. Slip next 46 (48-50-54-64-71) sts onto a length of yarn for Right Sleeve. Cast on 4 sts (left underarm). K64 (72-80-86-104-118). 136 (152-168-180-216-244) sts for Front and Back.

Knit in rnds even until work from dividing rnd measures 9 (9-9½-12-14-15) ins [23 (23-24-30.5-35.5-38) cm], dec 5 sts evenly across the last rnd. 131 (147-163-175-211-239) sts.

Change to smaller circular needle and proceed as follows:

1st rnd: Purl.

2nd rnd: Knit.

Rep last 2 rnds twice more, then 1st rnd once. Cast off.

Sleeves

With RS of work facing, slip 46 (48-50-54-64-71) sts from spare yarn onto 3 double-pointed needles. Pick up and knit 4 sts across underarm body sts. Divide sts evenly and join in rnd. 50 (52-54-58-68-75) sts.

1st rnd: Purl.

2nd rnd: Knit.

Rep last 2 rnds twice more, then 1st rnd once. Cast off.

Finishing Touches

Pin garment to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry.
