Crochet Jacket Instructions and Materials

You’ll Need:

300 (350, 400, 450, 500, 550)g of mélange (# 00081) Schachenmayr Arizona yarn (100% cotton; 100m/50g);

Crochet hook 6;

5 ecru buttons.

Size:

XS (S, M, L, XL).

Used Patterns:

Main pattern: for back and sleeves the quantity of sts is multiple 5 + 2 chain sts increase, for front – 5 + 3 + 2 chain sts increase.

Make sts before pattern repeat after chain st increase, repeat 5 sts of pattern, finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Repeat 1^st-2^nd rows.

Stitches Control:

13 sts x 7.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back

Make 55 (60, 65, 70, 75) chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and work due to the scheme 1. In 36 cm from the set-up row, decrease 4 (4, 5, 7, 7) sts from both sides for arm-holes. In 55 (55, 57, 57, 59) cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Left Front

Make 33 (33, 38, 38, 43) chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and work due to the scheme 3. In 36 cm from the set-up row, decrease 4 (4, 5, 7, 7) sts from the right side for arm-hole. In 37 (37, 39, 39, 41) cm from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 4 sts and 12 (12, 13, 13, 14) x 1 st in every row for neck-hole from the left side = 14 (14, 17, 17, 19) sts. In 55 (55, 57, 57, 59) cm from the set-up row, bind off the rest sts of shoulder.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 45 (50, 50, 55, 55) chain sts + 2 chain sts increase and work due to the scheme 1. In 16 cm from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 3 sts from both sides for sleeve caps, then, 10 (10, 12, 12, 14) x 1 st and 1 x 2 sts in every row. In 32 (32, 34, 34, 36) cm from the set-up row, bind off the rest sts.

Assembly:

Make shoulder, side and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Fasten the whole jacket with 1 circle row of single crochets. Sew buttons to the front.
