You’ll Need:

500g of green yarn (50% viscose, 50% cotton; 250m/100g);

Knitting needles 3;

Crochet hook 2.5;

Short circular knitting needles 2.5.

Size:

S

Used Patterns

  • 2 x 2 rib;
  • Relief pattern: due to the scheme. Repeat the 2nd-4th rows;
  • “Shells” pattern: * 5 double crochets in the 3rd stitch from the crochet hook, 1 single crochet in the 3rd stitch from the crochet hook*; repeat from * to *.

Note: Make pattern design in natural size.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 84 stitches and make 24 cm with 2 x 2 rib. Bind off the stitches. Then, work with the relief pattern using the crochet hook, and make increases by means of extra pattern repeats. Knit straight.

At 10 cm height from the beginning of the relief pattern, make decreases for armholes from both sides due to the pattern design. Then, knit straight. At 25 cm height from the beginning of the relief pattern, leave the central 18 cm for the neck-hole open and knit each part separately for 3 cm straight. Finish your work.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, at 23 cm height from the beginning of the relief pattern, leave the central 10 cm open and finish each side separately. For smooth rounding, make decreases from the inside and finish each side separately. Complete the second side of the neck-hole in symmetry.

Sleeves

Cast on 56 stitches and make 4 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Bind off the stitches. Then, create the relief pattern with the crochet hook, making increases due to the pattern design, by executing an extra pattern repeat.

Subsequently, form sleeve chamfers by making increases from both sides due to the pattern design (0.5 cm should be increased from both sides). At 5 cm from the beginning of the relief pattern, make decreases from both sides for sleeve caps according to the pattern design.

Assembly

Make shoulder and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Cast on 90 stitches along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles, then create 5 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Bind off the stitches according to the pattern. Fasten the lower edge of the pullover and sleeves with the “shells” pattern.
