Step-by-Step Guide to Making a Colorful Crochet Bag

You’ll Need:
140g of 100% cotton yarn of different colors;
Crochet hook 2;
Zipper 22 cm long.
Instructions
At first, make 8 Granny square motifs according to the scheme. Start each of them with the slip stitch. Each square consists of 6 rows.
Connect every 4 squares by means of slip stitch, and you’ll get 2 big squares. Fasten each of them with 3 rows of double crochets following the same scheme. Then, fold the squares right side to right side and fasten the edges with slip stitch, except for one edge, which will be the upper part of the bag.
Handle
Make 16 double crochets (8 double crochets from each side of the square). Make 2 rows with the first color yarn, then add the next color. Change the color of yarn for 2 double crochets in every row.
When you obtain the needed length of your handle, connect it with the loose end by means of single crochets.
Sew the zipper. For this, step 1 row from the wrong side of the back and make 3 rows of single crochets, catching the front loop of the 2nd row stitches from the side of every big square. Finally, sew the zipper.
