Instructions
Start your work from the crown.
Circle 5 chain sts in a ring by means of slip st.
Row Instructions
1st row: 2 chain sts increase, * 3 chain sts, 1 double crochet in the base of the previous row*; repeat from * to * x 5 times, 3 chain sts;
2nd row: 2 chain sts increase, 1 double crochet, * 3 chain sts, 2 double crochets* x 11 times, 2 chain sts, slip st;
3rd row: 2 single crochets in the base of the previous row, * 3 chain sts, 1 single crochet* x 11 times, 2 chain sts, slip st;
4th row: 2 chain sts, 3 double crochets, 2 chain sts, * 4 double crochets, 2 chain sts* x 11 times, slip st;
5th row: 2 chain sts increase, 4 double crochets, * 5 double crochets, 2 chain sts* x 11 times, slip st. You should get 12 petals.
Then, work with the crochet hook, making increases of 1 double crochet for each petal in each row. Totally, 10 rows of increases. Then, 1 row without increases (13 double crochets for "petal"). Then, you need 7 rows, decreasing 1 double crochet for each petal in each row, then 2 rows of single crochets.
