How to Knit a Beautiful Blue Scarf with Beads


You’ll Need:
3 skeins of blue yarn (100% wool; 160m/100g);
Knitting needles size 10.
Size:
80” long x 7” wide.
Stitch Control:
17 stitches x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Bead Technique
On the right side, turn back, then, 3 stitches out of 1 stitch (right side), turn.
3 purls, turn. Knit stitches behind front and back loop of 3 stitches (make 2 stitches out of 1 stitch) = 6 stitches, turn.
6 purls, turn. Knit stitches behind front and back loop of 6 stitches = 12 stitches, turn.
12 purls, turn. Knit 12 stitches, turn, 12 purls, turn (purl 2 together) x 6 times = 6 stitches, turn.
6 purls, turn, purl 2 together x 3 times = 3 stitches, turn.
3 purls, turn, purl 2 together single over = 1 stitch.
Scarf Instructions
Cast on 25 stitches.
For the 1st and wrong side rows: 6 knit stitches, 1 purl, (5 knit stitches, 1 purl) x twice, 6 knit stitches;
2nd and 4th rows: knit;
6th row: 12 knit stitches, add bead, knit;
8th, 10th, 12th, and 14th rows: knit;
16th row: 6 knit stitches, add bead, knit to the last 7 stitches, add bead, knit;
18th and 20th rows: knit.
Repeat the 1st to 20th rows until the desired length is reached, finish with the 12th row and bind off all stitches.
