How to Knit a Stylish Headband with Cotton Yarn

You'll Need
50g of 100% cotton yarn (152m/50g) in light-pink color;
The same yarn, but in dark-pink color for fastening;
Knitting needles size 3;
Crochet hook size 3.
Head Circumference
45-46 cm.
Used Patterns
Stockinette Stitch
In right-side rows - knit stitches, in wrong-side rows - purls;
Relief Pattern
1st row: 1 selvedge stitch, 1 knit stitch, *knit 2 together, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * to end of row;
2nd row: purl.
Stitches Control
On stockinette stitch: 23 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 90 stitches with light-pink yarn and make 1 row of purls. Turn to stockinette stitch and make 6 rows with this pattern. Then, make the relief pattern. Finish with 6 rows of stockinette stitch. Bind off the stitches. Sew the short ends of the headband. Fasten along the long sides of work with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of picot using the crochet hook and dark-pink yarn.
