You’ll Need
400g of coral yarn (300m/100g);
Crochet hook 2.5;
2 buttons.
Size
M.
Note
At first, make a placket, then the belt, and finally the jacket, starting your work with the neck-hole.
Instructions
Placket
Make 16 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. After that, work according to scheme 1. In 105 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.
Belt
Make 26 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase. After that, work according to scheme 2 for 87 cm. Mark the central 21 double crochets along the left side of the placket, join the yarn to the side of double crochets of the 35th row, and work according to scheme 3, making increases as per the scheme. In 40 cm from the beginning, finish your work.
Sew the loose left side of the placket to the edges of the front from both sides. After that, sew the belt to the lower edge. Finally, sew the buttons. Fasten the edges with a “shells” pattern (1 single crochet in the 1st st, 5 double crochets in the 3rd st).
