You’ll need:

350 (400, 450, 500, 550)g of yarn (50% acryl, 50% cotton; 145m/50g);

Crochet hooks 4,25 and 5.

Size: S (M, L, XL, XXL).

Chest: 35 (40, 45, 50, 55)”.

Length: 22 (22, 22, 23, 23)”.

Stitches control: 13 sts х 10 rows = 10 х 10 cm with the textured pattern and crochet hook 5.

Notes

Decreased double crochet = 2 double crochets with common top.

Decreased single crochet = 2 single crochets with common top.

Decrease 1 st from every edge of the RS row in the following way: 3 chain sts, turn, skip the 1st st, decrease double crochet above the next 2 sts, continue work along the row to the last 3 sts, finish the row with decreasing double crochet, double crochet in the top of chain st increase, 1 chain st, turn.

In WS row: 1 chain st, turn, decrease single crochet above the next 2 sts, continue work along the row to the last 2 sts, decreasing single crochet above the last 2 sts, 3 chain sts, turn.

For increase of 1 st make 2 sts out of 1 st.

Used Patterns

Textured pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple of 8 + 1.

Set-up row (WS): single crochet in the 2nd chain st and in every chain st, 3 chain sts, turn;

1st row (RS): skip the 1st single crochet, * skip the next 2 single crochets, 2 single crochets, treble crochet in the next single crochet, working behind the treble crochet, double crochet in every of the 2 skipped single crochets, double crochet in the next single crochet, skip the next single crochet, double crochet in the next 2 single crochets, working in front of the last 2 double crochets, treble crochet in the skipped single crochet, double crochet in the next single crochet*; repeat from * to *, 1 chain st, turn;

2nd row: single crochets, finish the row with single crochet in the 3rd chain st out of 3 chain sts increase (turn), 3 chain sts, turn.

Instructions

Back

Make 58 (66, 74, 82. 90) chain sts with crochet hook 5.

Continue the textured pattern straight on 57 (65, 73, 81, 89) sts to 13,25, (13, 25, 13, 25, 13, 13)” long, finish on the WS. Don’t make chain st, turn.

Arm-holes

(RS): slip st in the first 5 (5, 9, 13, 13) sts, 3 chain sts, make pattern to the last 4 (4, 8, 12, 12) sts, turn, leave the rest sts unfinished = 49 (57, 57, 57, 65) sts.

Crochet straight until the detail is 21 (21, 21, 22, 22)” long, finish on WS, 3 chain sts, turn.

Neck-hole

(RS): crochet along the first 14 (18 18, 18, 22) sts, 1 chain st, turn.

New row: decrease 1 st from the neck-hole side = 13 (17, 17, 17, 21) sts.

Continue straight to 22 (22, 22, 23. 23)” long.

For the second side from RS with crochet hook 5, skip the central 21 sts, join the yarn with slip st to the next st, 3 chain sts, finish in the same way, as the first side.

Front

Work in the same way, as for back to 16” long, finish on WS, 3 chain sts, turn.

Neck-hole

(RS): crochet along the first 19 (23, 23, 23, 27) sts, don’t make 1 chain sts increase, turn, leave the rest sts unfinished, slip st in the first 4 sts, 1 chain st to end of row, 3 chain sts, turn.

New row: make the pattern to the last 2 sts, 1 chain st, turn.

Decrease 1 st from both sides of neck-hole x 1 = 13 (17, 17, 17, 21) sts.

Then, crochet straight to 22 (22, 22, 23, 23)” long.

For the second side from RS, skip the central 11 sts, join the yarn with slip st to the next st, 3 chain sts, finish in the same way, as the first side.

Sleeves

Make 34 (34, 42, 42, 50) chain sts with crochet hook 5.

Start the textured pattern on 33 (33, 41. 41, 49) sts, increasing 1 st from each side in every row x 4 (6, 0, 12, 6) times, after that, increase 1 st in every 2nd row x 8 (6, 8, 0, 2) times = 57 (57, 57, 65, 65) sts.

Crochet straight to 10,5 (9,25, 9,25. 9,25, 8)” long.

Assembly

Sew shoulders, fasten the neck-hole from RS with crochet hook 4,25: 1 circle row of single crochets along the neck-hole line, decreasing single crochets in every corner, 1 chain st, don’t turn. Make 1 row of reversed single crochets.

After that, make side and sleeve seams, sew the sleeves in the arm-holes.

anyone knw what book this is in ,I've tried to find with the name the date od April2012 no luck

It's a magazine — the name is written on it «Knit & Crochet»
