You’ll Need

130g of 100% acryl middle weight yarn in light-blue color;

150g of the same yarn, but in pink color;

Crochet hook 4.

71 x 59 cm.

Fringe: due to the scheme 2.

Stitches Control

Motif = 8.5 x 8.5 cm.

Instructions

Make 25 motifs, making the 1^st and 2^nd rows with light-blue yarn and the 3^rd and 4^th rows with pink yarn. Make 24 motifs, alternating the colors of yarn. For each motif, create an initial ring according to the scheme, circle every row with a slip stitch, and make 3 chain stitches for increase.

Sew the motifs together, alternating them in a chessboard order. Fasten the blanket with fringe according to scheme 2 by making 3 double crochets, 2 chain stitches, and 3 double crochets from every corner stitch. Crochet, completing 2 rows with pink yarn, 2 rows with light-blue yarn, followed by another 2 rows of pink yarn. The total height of the blanket will be about 71 cm.
